Telstra claiming I have a bad internet connection, but I don't use Telstra for internet. Checked with them on an official Telstra line, and confirmed this is a number often used for scams.

They claim to be from Telstra, suggesting my internet connection is slow, and that in order to speed it up they need to access my PC to adjust the settings. Sounds like a scam to me.

They claimed to be from Telstra, stating that my internet connection was slow. When I mentioned I'd call them back, they abruptly hung up, which raised suspicions.
