The caller claimed to be from Telstra and mentioned a new modem delivery to my address. He then asked me to check my internet speed. When I inquired about the call being recorded for training purposes, as Telstra calls usually are, he avoided the question and accused me of not listening. Feeling suspicious, I decided to end the call at that point.

Got a call from an offshore call center claiming there was an issue with my Telstra internet connection. When I mentioned that I didn't have any internet service, the caller abruptly hung up.
