his is a scam number ...I got sucked into a survey for woollies-and filled I 1 part of 3 then realised it didn't sound right so I logged out
since then I am getting calls from people wanting my bank details..........eg dodo........greenpeace.... and today a call from OPTUS on this number (as soon as they say I was on a plan I knew then its a scam as I am not on a plan

Have been getting calls from this number day and night for months,
Indian call centre. Uses aggressive sales tactics and disregards customer dissatifiaction. was read back out of date information about my "optus" account.

Caller claimed to be from Optus calling about my account, a 'courtesy call'. She sounded very convincing. Then she asked for my date of birth to verify my identity and I refused. She said I could call her back on that number but I pointed out that wouldn't really prove anything. She said to ring the main Optus number but I was at work and didn't have time for that. I said if Optus have something to say to me they're welcome to send me an email, they have my email address. She claimed she would be unable to access my email address without my birth date. Well, bad luck. If this is really Optus, why are they asking their customers to reveal personal details?
