These people are pushing their luck. Ive put them on auto reject about 4 weeks ago. They were calling 4-5 times over about 6 hours but it was everyday and they stopped for about a week and a half but then on monday they call 6-7 times in half an hour then break then another 6-7 calls in half an hour then a break then again this goes all day and all week. We need a governing body that actually deals with these very aggressive tactics. It seems now alot of our lives are online that anything from looking at certain promo sites to entering comps to just about anything seems to invite these idiot telemarketers. These people need to be stopped. I work in an operating theatre so you can imagine how distracting it is for your phone to constantly ring with these idiots

They called six times between 4:57 pm and 6:35 pm yesterday on my mobile. I did not answer because I don't answer "Unknown" or "Private number" calls. I called this morning to see who they were and how they got my number and I got a recorded message saying they were "Answer plus."

I have looked around and seen complaints going back to a year.. still no proper authority has taken any actions..

28 phone calls on Monday, 3 calls Friday, 8 calls Thursday, 0 calls Wednesday, 0 calls Tuesday and 21 calls Monday. This is just the last week. I try to call them back and you get an answering machine message from them saying that will call me. I dont want them to call me!!!! The call me more than my wife, kids or mother!!!!

Recently gave out my mobile number for a Dodo internet online competition, and suddenly I get these annoying phone calls. Also getting the calls on the home number, with the person saying that they are ringing for "An assessment" and that they are not trying to sell me anything.

This company rings my wife mobile 6-10 times a day. Every day now for four days. When we answer there is no one on other side. When I called back you get a voice message.

I have been receiving calls from this number all day. I read on a site that it is a company called Answer Plus from Canada. I emailed them and this is what they wrote:
Good morning Fay,
We are aware of the issue you are referring to, and understand just how frustrating telemarketing calls can be. However, we are not the Answer Plus who has been disturbing you.
Our company has never and will never do any form of telemarketing. We do not offer survey services, and we never will.
AnswerPlus does not even own the technology to make such harassing calls,
We have filed complaints with both the Australian and the Canadian Authorities about these calls.
We are aware that there is a company in Australia with the same name who has been disturbing individuals such as yourself. We have attached a link to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. There you will find a link to the Do Not Disturb List, as well as a link to file a complaint with the ASIC. We hope that is helpful to you.

I got a call from this number (she said A Plus) but I was absolutely unable to take the call (short survey) at that time and she asked if she could call back sometime and I said "Yeah sure whatever" as I really didn't have the time to talk. Since then I've had many many calls so much so that I've now put them on my Spam listing on my mobile phone so they all automatically go to voicemail. 14 call attempts since doing that - voicemail notification but no message left! They won't take "No, not interested" for an answer and persist in their harassment. I tried calling the number back and get a computer generated voice identifying a company called Answer Plus and saying they'll call me back.

I have had 3 to 4 calls a day for the last 3 months and completely fed up with it . I also get these calss from 0280157634 and 0244556620.
I looked up Answer Plus and abused the owner Ian Ward as his name crops up everywhere in the search . I have seen a few other comments accusing him also. He denies it is his company and perhaps we have some hackers using someone else's phone number to show in the caller display id .
I would like to know how to get rid of these calls .
This is illegal activity so why is it that the telecommunications giants can't get on to them !?? -

I did both and soon after I had a call where they actually didn't hang up. I told them what was happening and they said that they would remove my number.
